Environmental Health Division have developed a software on Epidemiology based Health Risk Assessment. This has been developed during the progress of ongoing National Air Quality Mission project under 12th Five Year Plan Programme. The copyright for the same has been applied at CSIR, New Delhi.

Achievements:

  • Contributed to scale up of recombinant superoxide dismutase (SOD) production while working at IHBT (Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology), Palampur as Scientist. The technology has been successfully transferred to a private industry
  • Participated in the 32nd Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica, 2013
  • Training in high throughput DNA sequencing using Illumina Genome Analyzer platform, virology at Enterovirus Research Center, Mumbai, pathogenic protozoa at NICED (National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases), Calcutta, GC and HPLC conducted by PerkinElmer.
  • Member of Third prize winning group in Business plan presentations in Third training program on Technology Led Entrepreneurship conducted by the faculty of IIM, Bangalore and organized by CSIR from Feb to Mar 2006
  • Contributed to development of Pure-It water purification device while working at Hindustan Unilever Research Center as Research Officer
