Reactor has been set-up at pilot level for producing biogas from food waste (upto 100kg), at Go-Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Deolapar, in collaboration with Lien Foundation Environmental Endeavour 2 –Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The aim is to provide benefits of the biogas technology to economically underprivileged communities and ensure their participation in solid waste management.
